Brenckle’s Farms and Greenhouses has been a family owned and operated business for over 80 years! The retail location is situated in Butler Pennsylvania, near the Butler farm show grounds. Growing and providing the highest quality plants and vegetables to their wonderful customers is what the Brenckle family takes pride in. The Brenckles are also very proud to be ranked with the highest honor Gold Award for the category of Garden Center Nursery in the Butler Eagle year after year. Gary Brenckle, along with his wife of 40 years, Carol Brenckle, have 4 children together. Their son Gary Brenckle Jr., and daughters Amy Smith, Stephanie Costlow, and Christina Brenckle work together in all aspects of the farm and greenhouses to make the business what it is today.

Gary Brenckle started to love the idea of farming at a very young age. His Grandfather Albert Brenckle, and father, Alfred Brenckle, farmed land near Pittsburgh back in the 1950s, 60s, and 70s. Together they taught Gary the importance of this work. From then on he had the ambition and dedication to make his Dad and Grandad’s business the best it could ever be. Today, Gary’s family could not be more proud of the hard work he has and continues to portray. Gary’s family has grown over the years and grandchildren are one of the highlights of his life. Ranging from 1-13 years old, his grandkids enjoy being around the farm and helping out when they can. Gary jr., Amy, Stephanie, and Christina aim to keep the success of this business going by following in their Dad’s footsteps.
